Dr Caroline Choong

Dr Caroline Choong obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2013. She subsequently earned her Master of Medicine (MMed) in Internal Medicine and Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physician (MRCP) in 2016.

Currently a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Dr Choong also serves as the Clinical Director of the National Tuberculosis Care Centre (NTBCC), a role she has held since 2023. Her clinical and research interests lie in tuberculosis.

Dr Choong is also involved in medical education. She is a core clinical faculty member of the NHG Respiratory Medicine Residency Programme, and has served as the Clinical OSCE Lead for LKCMedicine since 2020. She was awarded the NHG Teaching Award for PGY1 in 2013, and NHG Teaching Award for junior doctors in 2019.
