Our Milestones

1992 Executive Training Programme for Chinese officials was introduced. 南洋理工大学在新加坡首创为中国政府官员提供海外高级培训课程。
1998 Master of Science in Managerial Economics was launched by Mr Tang Guan Seng, the then Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Trade and Industry. 南洋理工大学正式开办海外第一个针对中国官员的学位项目——管理经济学硕士学位项目。时任新加坡贸工部高级政务次长陈原生是开学典礼的主宾。
1999 NTU became the first university in Singapore that was certified by China’s State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs to conduct executive trainings for Chinese government officials and professionals. 南洋理工大学成为新加坡首个获得中国国家外专局境外培训资质的高等教育机构。
2005 Master of Public Administration was launched by Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, the then Minister for Education. 南洋理工大学开办公共管理硕士学位项目。时任新加坡教育部长尚达曼主持开学典礼。
2007 The Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship Programme was launched. 南洋理工大学和连氏基金设立连瀛洲纪念奖学金项目。
2009 Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) was officially established by Mr Gan Kim Yong, the then Minister for Manpower. 南洋理工大学成立南洋公共管理研究生院。时任新加坡人力部部长颜金勇主持开幕典礼。
2011 NTU "Mayors' Class" received the 2011 Business China Enterprise Award. 南洋理工大学（市长班）荣获2011年通商中国企业奖。 NCPA's first EDP for senior government officials of Southeast Asian countries(Vietnam). 南洋公共管理研究生院为东南亚国家（越南）举办首个政府高级官员培训课程。
2012 NTU celebrated its 20th anniversary of training Chinese government officials. Mr Heng Swee Keat, then-Minister for Education, was the Guest of Honour. 南洋理工大学庆祝开设中国官员培训项目20周年，时任教育部长王瑞杰作为主宾出席。
2014 NCPA designated as the first base in Asia for the Executive Study Programme on Higher Education for University Administrative Officials commissioned by China Scholarship Council. 南洋公共管理研究生院成为中国国家留学基金委高等教育行政管理人员海外研修项目首个亚洲基地。
2015 Master of Arts in Contemporary China programme celebrated its 10th anniversary and was officially incorporated onto NCPA. 当代中国硕士学位项目办学十年庆典，并正式纳入南洋公共管理研究生院。 NCPA introduced the Master of Public Administration in English. 南洋公共管理研究生院推出以英文授课的公共管理硕士学位项目。
2016 Launch of Master of Science in Managerial Economics November intake, targeting fresh graduates from top universities. 管理经济学硕士学位项目首开秋季班，招生面向刚参加工作的初级行政管理人才或有志从事经济管理的优秀应届毕业生。 NCPA has run EDPs for six Asian countries (i.e., Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, the Philippines, Laos, and Malaysia), with the total number of EDP participants exceeding the 1,000 mark. 已为六个东南亚国家（即越南、缅甸、柬埔寨、菲律宾、老挝和马来西亚）的高级政府官员开设培训课程。参加过培训的政府官员总数超过1000名。
2017 NCPA celebrated its 25th anniversary of development, as well as the 10th anniversary of the Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship. Mr Ong Ye Kung, the then Minister for Education was the Guest of Honour at the celebration event. 庆祝南洋公共管理研究生院发展25周年暨连瀛洲纪念奖学金项目设立10周年，时任教育部长王乙康作为主宾出席双庆晚宴。 Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship received the 2017 Business China Enterprise Award. 连瀛洲纪念奖学金荣获“通商中国企业奖”。
2018 Launch of the Lien Research Programme on the Belt and Road Initiative. “一带一路”研究中心正式成立。
2019 NCPA successfully organised the IIAS-Lien 2019 Conference: Effective, Accountable and Inclusive Governance. Deputy Prime Minister and then-Minister for Finance Mr Heng Swee Keat was the Guest of Honour and delivered the keynote speech at the opening ceremony. 成功举办2019国际行政科学学会年会暨连氏善治国际会议，新加坡副总理兼财政部长王瑞杰出席开幕式并发表主旨演讲。 Master of Science in Managerial Economics (Chinese) and Master of Public Administration (Chinese) were upgraded to Executive Master of Science in Managerial Economics (EMME, Chinese) and Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA, Chinese) respectively. 管理经济学（MME）和公共管理（MPA）硕士学位项目升格为高级项目，即高级管理经济学（EMME）和高级公共管理（EMPA）硕士学位项目。 Master of Arts in Contemporary China was renamed Master of Social Sciences in China and Global Governance (MCGG). 当代中国硕士学位项目更名为中国与全球治理硕士学位项目。
2021 NCPA launched the English Master of Science in Managerial Economics programme. 南洋公共管理研究生院推出以英文授课的管理经济学硕士学位项目。
2022 NCPA celebrates its 30th anniversary of development, as well as the 15th anniversary of the Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship. With Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat as Guest of Honour. 南洋公共管理研究生院庆祝30周年暨连瀛洲纪念奖学金成立15周年，副总理王瑞杰作为主宾出席。 Number of full-time graduate students exceeding 500. 全日制硕士研究生人数超过500人。
