Dr Lim Yang Teck Kenneth and his students participate at the 6th conference of the Association of Southeast Asian Teacher Education Network (AsTEN)
Dr Lim Yang Teck Kenneth, Senior Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP) and his students shared their work on the intersection of neuroergonomics and sports science during the 6th Conference of the Association of Southeast Asian Teacher Education Network (AsTEN) on 14 December 2024. The National Institute of Education is a member of AsTEN, which is a network of premier leading Teacher Education Institutions of the countries in the ASEAN. The goal of the association is to address issues, challenges, and concerns relevant to teacher education programs, practices and policies in the ASEAN Region. This year's conference was hosted by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University. The paper that Dr Lim shared was titled 'Exploring the relationships between microclimate and exercise performance in student context using low-cost DIY wearables and machine learning', and was co-authored by Dr Lim's students, Dinh Nho An, Quek Yi Ming, Nguyen Duc Minh Anh, and Nguyen Thien Minh Tuan.
