Introduction
This course provides an overview of economics and its application to explain real life issues. It covers topics like efficiency, demand and supply, production and cost, national income, inflation and unemployment and government policies that are relevant to day to day life.
*Certificate of Completion will be issued basing on given criteria. Please complete all assessments and the project and obtain a total score of at least 50%.
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Perform a cost and benefit analysis on real life issues
- Make rational economic decisions in view of resource constraints
- Understand how an economy works and appreciates the economic issues concerning individuals
- Analyse the impact of government policies on the welfare of individuals
