Introduction

Google analytic is a de facto analytic reporting platform that allows professionals to quantify efforts and investment placed in Digital Marketing, be it by in-house digital marketing team or a third-party agency. Building on the fundamental knowledge of Google Analytics that you have, this advanced level masterclass will further equip you with more in-depth skillset by deep diving into learning how to create goals to monitor and track conversions, exploring multi-channel marketing channels and how to perform re-marketing. At the end of the course, you will have gained critical knowledge that will equip you to prepare for your Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification.

This course will be useful for professionals that possess basic digital marketing analytics skill, but would like to expand their knowledge to achieve deeper insights on the existing digital marketing investments and reposition your marketing strategy. It will be advantageous if you are accumulating knowledge to prepare for GAIQ certification.

The 2 days programme will cover the following:
Day 1: Applying Digital Market Analytics fundamentals and extending it
Day 2: Hands-on experience on how to apply these in-depth analyses. They will learn to create their own custom dashboards and reports on their own website data and get insights on how which marketing channels are bringing them the most customers and then re-market their product to the relevant target audience to get the best Return of Investment with spending the least. There will be a 30 mins written assessment at the end of the course.

• Unify various data sources to a centralised Digital Marketing Analytics Visualisation tool
• Configure and Customise Google Analytics to your Organisation
• Create a plan to measure the success of Digital Marketing

• Attributing the contributions of Multi Marketing Channel
• Decide on the audience to re-market

Day 1: Reinforcing and Extending Digital Marketing Analytics
o Re-introduction to Digital Marketing Analytics
o Understand each Basic Google Analytics reports uses
o Class activity #1 to refresh Digital Marketing Analytics Reports
o Be the admin of Google Analytics
o Don’t use the default. Configure and Customise to your needs
o Creating a marketing plan to suit our needs
o Class activity #2 to find the dimension/metric for your marketing plan

Day 2: Practise Makes Perfect!
o Bring your own website (If not we can provide)
o Filtering Source Data
o Configure and Create Custom Metrics/Dimensions
o Create Calculated Metrics
o Using Segmentations to understand your customers

Jayne Tew holds a Bachelor of Business (2nd class upper Honors) from NTU and has more than 10 years of working experience in digital marketing. Jayne has rich knowledge of all things digital - From content marketing, SEO, SEM to programmatic and social media marketing.

Having worked across multiple industries such as consulting, hospitality and recruitment, she has led regional teams to create and implement digital marketing strategies and large-scale campaigns that drive results for both B2B and B2C audiences.

She is Google Analytics certified and is a strong advocate of data-driven, customer centric marketing. She is currently a trainer with Intangibles Consultancy.

Ivan holds a Master In Computing and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Second Upper) from The National University of Singapore. He is currently heading a leading IoT solution provider, that leverages a suite of propriety technologies to enhance existing IT infrastructures with the integration of IoTs and RFID technology to bridge functional gaps to meet new and emerging demands.
