You will:
  • Work closely with other team members in NCS CorpLabs and researchers in Singtel Cognitive Lab for Enterprises (SCALE) at NTU to translate state of the art ML algorithms to prototypes and Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
  • Keep up to date on the latest tools and industry trends in the area of Machine Learning for Robotics and Resource Optimization.
  • Be part of agile product development and work closely with the subject matter experts, product management, users, sales team, etc. to solve real business problems.
  • Propose, design, and implement proof-of-concept as well as industry-grade solutions to diverse technology and business problems.
  • Participate in and contribute to the planning process for new features and product development.
  • Build highly maintainable and easy-to-understand code.
  • Mentor researchers and students. 
You have:
  • Bachelors/Master’s/PhD degree in Computing/AI/Applied Mathematics/Operations Research/Information Technology/Data Analytics (or equivalent).
  • One to two years of experience in developing ML and Optimization methods with applications in Computer Vision, Robotics and IoT. 
  • Proficiency in Python programming and scripting for Linux OS.
  • Experience in developing algorithms using ML libraries such as OR-Tools, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
