Financial Assistance
 
Singapore Citizens (SCs): enjoy a study grant of S$10,000 + prevailing GST (S$10,900).
• Singapore Permanent Residents (SPRs): enjoy a study grant of S$5,000 + prevailing GST (S$5,450).
• Needy SCs and SPRs may apply for financial aid (up to S$5,450 in addition to the SC/SPR study grant).
• NTU Alumni: On top of the above, alumni can enjoy a 10% grant of the tuition fee (S$5,800 + Prevailing GST (S$6,322)
 
Education loans Education loans with some leading banks/institutions that offer optimal lending terms to eligible applicants are available.
Please note that NTU is not an agent for these banks/institutions and students must apply for the loans directly with the respective banks/institutions and abide by their terms and conditions.
 

Note: Tuition fee is payable each semester regardless of the number of courses registered that term.  The University reserves the right to revise its fees every year without notice.

Scholarship

SG Digital Scholarship (Postgraduate – Cybersecurity Track)

Your passcode to becoming our next-generation leader in Cybersecurity - this is the opportunity to spearhead our national digital transformation. In collaboration with the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), the SG Digital Scholarship (Postgraduate – Cybersecurity Track) is an industry scholarship that enables you to pursue Master’s or PhD-level studies and take the next big step in your passion for Cybersecurity.

Applicants for the SG Digital Scholarship (Postgraduate – Cybersecurity Track) must meet the following criteria:

  • Singapore citizen
  • The postgraduate programme has to be cybersecurity-related and offered by a local autonomous university or a renowned overseas university
  • A current student in a cybersecurity-related postgraduate programme with minimally one academic year of study remaining from the point of scholarship award; or
  • A candidate who has yet to enrol in any cybersecurity-related postgraduate programmes and will commence his/her Master’s or PhD within one year from the point of scholarship award.

The following programmes are not eligible:

  1. Online or distance learning courses;
  2. Part-time Overseas Master's; and
  3. Part-time Local/Overseas PhD programmes.

The bond commitment will be as follows:

For Master’s:

  • 3 years for full-term Overseas Scholarship
  • 2 years for mid-term Overseas Scholarship
  • 2 years for full-term Local Scholarship
  • 1 year for mid-term Local Scholarship
  • Bond-free for Part-time Local or mid-term Part-time Local Scholarship

For PhD:

  • Bond-free for Local Scholarship (including full- or mid-term)
  • 5 years for full-term Overseas Scholarship
  • 3 – 4 years for mid-Term Overseas Scholarship Successful applicants will be given support for:
  • Tuition and other compulsory university fees
  • Annual living allowance (for Overseas Master’s and PhD only)1
  • Enhanced annual stipend (for Full-Time Local/Overseas Master’s and PhD only)1
  • Pre-studies allowance
  • Thesis allowance
  • Medical insurance, visa fees, etc. where mandatory
  • Funding support for courses and certifications beyond school curriculum
  • Support for overseas experiences2 including overseas internships, student exchange programmes and competitions
  • For PhD studies: conference allowances, travel allowances and book allowances
