Working as an interpreter can be challenging, especially for international organisations such as the United Nations (UN) and World Health Organisation (WHO). This talk will give the audience a general introduction of the Chinese interpreters at the UN, the recruitment criteria, their routines, subject areas and coping strategies in both directions. UN job interviews will also be briefly introduced.
