NTU Ranks Fourth in Asia University Rankings by Times Higher Education (THE) 2024
Inaugurated on 1 July 1991, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) started out as a teaching university which has today transformed into a research-intensive global university.
Times Higher Education (THE) released the 2024 Asia University Rankings, with NTU rising to fourth place in Asia. NTU is one of the youngest universities among the top four in Asia and it is advancing steadily in rankings. NUS has maintained its third position, while China's Tsinghua and Beijing University took the top two positions respectively. These rankings are based on several indicators, including the quality of research, research environment, and teaching reputation. NUS scored 91.2 points overall, while NTU scored 85.7 points.
