Using GEN AI in Teaching and Learning

Joanne Chia's teaching research interests include exploring interdisciplinary learning and autonomous thinking, as well as creativity and differentiation in the inquiry process.

The Inaugural Strategies with Technology for Enhancing Pedagogy Symposium (STEPS) was held on 4 March 2024 at the Experimental Medicine Building. Organised by the Institute for Pedagogical Innovation, Research & Excellence (InsPIRE), the symposium brought together educators and researchers to share about their experience in adopting and incorporating technology in pedagogy.

STEP_JoanneChiaDr Joanne Chia was invited to represent SoH as a panelist to talk about using GenAI in teaching and learning.  Other panelists included Asst. Prof Leonard Ng (MSE), Ms Ann Tey (CITS), Dr Ng Kian Bee (LKCMed), and Ms Sharma Thilarajah (NIE). The session was moderated by Dr Lim Fun Siong (InsPIRE-ATLAS).
