Patrick Chong
Patrick Chong is the designated career coach for students at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS), providing personalized guidance to help them explore career options, plan their professional journey, and develop essential job search skills.

Through one-on-one coaching, Patrick assists students in identifying suitable career paths, addressing skill gaps, and preparing for job applications. Students can also request resume critiques and mock interview sessions to refine their job search strategies and gain confidence for upcoming opportunities.

Applying career development theories such as Social Cognitive Theory and the narrative approach, Patrick tailors his coaching to each student's needs. He is also proficient in career assessment tools like Knowdell Card Sorts and Strong Interest Inventory, helping students gain clarity in their career choices.
