Alice Yin Hung
Ms Alice Yin Hung is the founder of Paeonia Group, a Singapore-based family office and investment holding company. It directly manages wholly owned companies in the US and Greater China with decades of operating history in global markets.
Across her companies, Alice has built a leading testing equipment and scientific laboratory instrumentation business and the largest engine oil testing machinery business. She also has a global portfolio of residential and commercial real estate. Alice has been keenly involved in the startup ecosystem. With a global venture investment mandate, her portfolio spans over 30 deep tech startups and VC funds globally.
Paeonia Group has served as a wellspring of philanthropy and arts & culture, including support to the University of Pennsylvania, Oxford University, Cambridge University, Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. In Singapore, Paeonia has supported the activities of the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Fei Yue Community Services, and the National University of Singapore. Alice also chairs the Audit Committee of the Asian Cultural Council (ACC) as a Global Trustee.
An alumna of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Alice is the immediate past Chair of Wharton’s Executive Board for Asia and has endowed the Alice Y. Hung President’s Distinguished Professorship. In recognition of her various contributions and achievements, Alice was named The Wharton School 2019 China Entrepreneur of the Year, St. Mark’s School (Massachusetts, USA) 2013 Outstanding Alumna, and a member of the St. Mark’s School Pillar Society.
