Biomolecular Interactions
The Biomolecular Interactions (BMI) Platform in BioSciences Research Centre (BRC), School of Biological Sciences, at NTU Singapore offers access to a spectrum of biophysical techniques to help users characterize molecules of research and interest. The techniques at BMI platform are suitable for protein to protein or DNA / ligand / small molecules / hormones / fragments interactions; molecular mass and size measurements, secondary/tertiary structure determination, aggregation, and conformation measurements, and more.
The BMI platform offers scientific consultation, training, and access to the following technologies housed at SBS, NTU:
- Surface Plasmon Resonance Interaction Assays on a Biacore T200.
- Biolayer Interferometry assays on Gator Prime.
- Isothermal Calorimetry on a Malvern ITC200.
- Mass photometry on a Refeyn TwoMP.
- Dynamic Light Scattering and Zeta potential analysis on a Malvern Zetasizer ZS Nano.
- Circular Dichroism measurements on a Chirascan CD Spectrometer.
- Fluorescence measurements on a Cary Eclipse Fluorescent Spectrophotometer.
- Analytical Ultra-Centrifugation on a Beckman Proteomelab-XL.
