Project Title	Innovative structure systems for next-generation construction
PI	Assistant Professor Zhao Ou
Project Description	This project aims at developing innovative structure systems and automatic construction methods, to boost construction productivity and quality as well as reduce dependence on foreign workforce and supply chain in construction sector, which is crucial in countries with workforce and supply chain volatility, such as Singapore. From this project, new types of joints for composite slab and PPVC module, novel bolted beam-to-column steel joint and advanced hoisting system, will be developed.
