Gold Award in BCA Awards 2021- Integrated Design Delivery (IDD) Project Category

In collaboration with NTU’s team led by Prof Robert Tiong on project ‘Cloud BIM based Digital Logistics Management with Vision-enhanced Luffing Crane’, Kimly Construction Pte Ltd has won the Gold Award in BCA Awards 2021- Integrated Design Delivery (IDD) Project Category.

NTU’s team members comprise of Priya Somasundaran, Vimal Kumar and Roshan Vijay, with Prof Tiong as PI and Prof Holden Li of MAE and Mr Ng Kian Wee, JTC as co-PIs. Kimly’s project team was led by Mr Choo Tat Jin, Director of Kimly Construction.

The NTU’s ‘Cloud BIM based Digital Logistics Management with Vision-enhanced Luffing Crane’ system has been implemented at the JTC Logistics Hub @ Gul construction site located at 1 Gul Circle in partnership between NTU, JTC Corporation, Kimly Construction Pte Ltd and collaborators. It automates precast element logistics management, tracking and improves safety of hoisting processes.
