Visit by Tongji University – Strengthening Our Institutional Partnership

Professor Zheng Qinghua, President of Tongji University, along with his delegates, visited the NTU School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, engaging in fruitful discussions and exploring avenues for collaboration.   

Having established an integrated education collaboration, the visit further solidified the strong partnership. The day began with a meaningful discussion between Professor Chu Jian, Chair of the School, faculty members, and visiting delegates from Tongji University. This was followed by a tour of the school's state-of-the-art research laboratories, offering firsthand insights into ongoing innovations.  

 As a key highlight, the visit concluded with a trip to the President’s Office where Professor Boh Wai Fong, Vice President (Lifelong Learning and Alumni Engagement), and Professor Zheng Qinghua, participated in the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) exchange and memento presentation – signifying the continued commitment in deepening institutional ties.
