Visitor Guidelines

NOTICE TO CHC MUSEUM VISITORS

1. Please show respect and courtesy to CHC staff, museum guides and volunteers, as well as to fellow visitors.
2. Food, photography, video and games are prohibited in the exhibitions.
3. Visitors shall refrain from making excessive noise in the exhibitions and touching the exhibits.
4. Guided tours must be conducted by CHC-trained guides/volunteers. CHC reserves the right
   to terminate any tour conducted by non-CHC guides/volunteers.
5. Guided tour bookings must be made at least two weeks in advance and cancellations must be informed at least three days in advance.
6. Guided tour bookings depend on the availability of guides. In the following cases, CHC may be unable to match a guide to the visitor: 
   • There are too many applicants and too few available guides 
   • A guide cannot be found who is able to meet the visitor’s specific request (e.g., language, date, time, etc.).
7. CHC reserves the right to terminate service at any time before or during a guided tour if the
   visitor exhibits any conduct, behaviour or action deemed inappropriate or offensive by CHC.
8. CHC reserves the right to terminate a pre-booked guided tour if the visitor is late for 15 minutes or more.
9. CHC reserves the right to refuse service to visitors who have previously cancelled bookings without due notice.
10. CHC will not be responsible for any personal illnesses, injuries, losses or thefts, and any other damages incurred by the visitor while using CHC services in the CHC premise. The visitor shall accept full responsibility for any damages, injuries or losses that he/she may incur while using CHC services in the CHC premise.
11. CHC reserves the right to amend the above terms and conditions without prior notice.

欢迎来到华裔馆
请参观者遵守以下规则：

1. 请尊重及礼貌对待本馆的职员、讲解员、义工及其他参观者。
2. 禁止在展览厅内内饮食、游戏、拍照或者录像。
3. 参观者不得在展览厅内喧哗、追逐或嬉戏。不得触摸、涂鸦或者破坏展品。
4. 惟有在本馆受训的的讲解员才能提供导览服务。本馆有权终止非本馆讲解员提供的导览，并要求其离开展览厅。
5. 申请导览服务者必须提前两个星期向本馆预约。如若取消，请最迟于预定参观日前三天告知馆方。
6. 导览服务视讲解员的工作时间而定。本馆在以下情况无法提供导览服务：
   • 申请导览者多于本馆能提供的讲解员
   • 无法找到符合申请者之需求的讲解员（如语言、时间等）
7. 若参观者于展览厅范围内有任何不恰当的行为（例如破坏展品或骚扰其他参观者）或违反本馆制订的展览厅规则﹐本馆职员有权制止该行为，或终止导览服务并要求参观者即时离开展览厅。在此问题上﹐馆方具有最终判断权。
8. 未事先告知（预定参观日之三天前）本馆便单方面取消导览服务者，本馆有权拒绝提供下一次的导览服务。
9. 请准时到达博物馆，以免影响当日的参观安排；如参观者迟到超过15分钟，本馆有权取消所预约之导览服务。
10. 馆方不对参观者的个人及其物品的安全负有责任。在馆内如若感到不适、受伤或物品丢失，无论何种原因﹐本馆不承担任何责任。
11. 以上条款本馆拥有最终解释权。 感谢您的理解与配合！
