Book launch of Forever Strangers? Contemporary Chinese Immigrants around the World

《长为异乡客？——当代华人新移民》的新书发布会

On March 26, the book launch of Forever Strangers? Contemporary Chinese Immigrants around the World was held online. The book focused on xin yi min, or “new Chinese immigrants”, a term referring to the more than 8 million people from Mainland China who emigrated to other countries since China’s open-door policy from 1978. Edited by Prof. Zhou Min from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), it contained a collection of essays from 25 scholars worldwide.

3月26日，《长为异乡客？——当代华人新移民》的新书发布会在网上举行。这本书由洛杉矶加州大学（UCLA）的周敏教授编辑，收录了全球25位学者的论文，专注的华人新移民指的是自1978年中国开放以来移居其他国家的800多万中国大陆人。
