French language immersion trip to France organised by the Centre for Modern Languages

NTU offers you many opportunities to learn the French language in France and get a credit transfer. The Center of Modern Languages has recently offered a unique Language Immersion Programme - France which is open to all NTU students regardless of their discipline and level of proficiency. One unique aspect of this programme resides in the possibility to have full language and cultural immersion by staying with a French family.

You may wish to join this programme if you are planning to go for exchange in a French university or a university in a French speaking country as this intensive language course will give you a good insight to the French language and French culture.

French LIP are Intensive courses from 2 to 3 weeks (3 AU)

Syllabi have been tailored according to NTU syllabi so that you can join the higher French courses at NTU without any problem when you are back in Singapore. The language school organises activities / visits to historical monuments over the week-end.
Courses are conducted in Besançon, a nice and safe town conveniently located near the Swiss, German and Belgian borders. Paris, Lyon and Strasboug are easily accessible by train from Besançon in less than 3 hours.

Accomodation: Different options are available, including homestay so that you can experience a full linguistic and cultural immersion.

Application: Open to all NTU students whatever their discipline and level of proficiency of French.
