Vijayan P Munusamy
Biographical Profile
Vijay is a researcher with over twenty-five years of experience. He is a thought leader in human capital leadership and has served as an expert member in the World Bank Institute’s Roundtable – Leadership for Development Impact – “Getting Things Done.” Vijay started his career as an engineer, but after recognising the need to not only interlock people having different perspectives but also unlock their human, cultural and social capital, he pursued a career in applied human capital research and has since served the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), The Conference Board, NUS Centre for Future-ready Graduates and Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI).

Research Expertise
Vijay has published extensively on human capital, including chapters in the Handbook of Leadership Development (Wiley), Handbook of Cultural Intelligence (Routledge), and Handbook of Ethnocultural Conflict (Springer). His work in these areas has also won several awards, including the Academy of Management’s Rupert Chilsom Best Theory to Practice Award. Vijay is also a passionate educator adept in bringing forth expertise in co-creation, design, facilitation, delivery and evaluation of tertiary academic and corporate programmes.
