CARRO x AWS Hackathon 2022 - Recognition of winners

#NTUEEE students Goh Lee Hua, Philip Lee Hann Yung, Tham Yong Hao, Vibin Mathiparambil Vinod and Lee Wai Yeong became champions of the CARRO x AWS Hackathon 2022. They shrugged off the challenge from more than 70 other students from different colleges and universities in Singapore in solving problem sets under 3 challenge categories: pricing algorithm, computer vision analysis and acoustic analysis. For their first prize, they were flown to Seattle in July to visit key Amazon facilities and attend live classroom training prepared exclusively by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

"We were extremely delighted when we were announced winners because our hard work for the past 48 hours realy paid off - it was really a team effort that made our dream come true. Our trip to Seattle was truly one-of-a-kind, with exclusive visits to Amazon's biggest campus hosted by the friendly staff there and the freedom to explore a beautiful city with cool weather. An unforgettable and amazing opportunity indeed," said fourth year student Philip.
