About Techignite 2023

Welcome to Techignite 2023, the second edition of NTU College of Engineering’s annual engineering festival. Comprising a hybrid of physical and virtual events, we hope to bring engineering to prospective students through specially curated speaker series by industry veterans and experiential workshops conducted by our very own engineering students. Learn how engineering can open doors of opportunity for you in this new-age world.

Register and attend any Workshop or Speaker Series session individually or as a group of four to be eligible for our lucky draws. If you are one of our early bird registrant or if you sign up as a group, you'll stand to win more prizes!

Other Prizes

• Early Bird Perks: First 40 early bird individual registrations will receive a $10 voucher each (Registration must be submitted by Sunday, 27 November 2022, 23:59hrs and registrant must attend any one of the workshops or speaker series to receive the prize)
• Group Registration Perks: First 10 groups of four to register for any workshop will receive $100 voucher per group (Registration must be submitted by Sunday, 27 November 2022, 23:59hrs and ALL four registrants must attend at least one workshop to receive the prize)

How to increase your chances of winning*?

• Early Bird Perk: Receive an additional lucky draw chance if you register by Sunday, 27 November 2022, 23:59hrs.
• Attend as many Workshops and Speaker Series session as possible (the more you attend, the higher the chances!)
• Follow us on social media: Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

*Participants who will be attending the physical workshops on NTU campus on both 7 January 2023 and 14 January 2023, are entitled to participate in the 2 lucky draws. They must be on-site at the point of the lucky draws.

*All registrants, which include the first 40 early bird individual registrations and the first 10 groups of four registrations, must attend at least 1 workshop or virtual speaker series session to be eligible for the lucky draws.

*NTU College of Engineering will check on the attendance for the workshops and speaker series sessions, and social media following before processing the lucky draws.

Terms and Conditions: 

• Lucky draw is only applicable to participants with a valid Singapore address.
• Winners will be notified by 7 February 2023 via email provided by the participants. NTU College of Engineering will thereafter follow up with prize collection emails to the respective winners shortly after verification has been obtained and conducted. If any winner cannot be contacted by reasonable means or fails to respond within 21 days after the issuance of the prize collection email, the winner will be disqualified, and NTU College of Engineering reserves the right to select another winner. All prizes which are not won or remain unclaimed after 2 months of the announcement of the winner(s) will be forfeited. 
• Verification of identity will be required during prize redemption.
• All iPad prizes must be redeemed in person at NTU. Details will be made known to the winners.
• E-vouchers will be sent to winner’s specified email address in the registration forms. 
• Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and non-cash prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. NTU College of Engineering accepts no responsibility for any tax or other liability that may arise from the prize winnings. Prizes are subject to availability and NTU College of Engineering has the right to substitute any prize for a comparable prize of equal or greater value to be awarded in lieu, subject to any applicable law. 
• NTU College of Engineering may at any time at its sole and absolute discretion, without notice or assigning any reason therefore substitute, withdraw, add to or alter any of the prizes.
• NTU College of Engineering reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions when necessary.
• NTU College of Engineering’s decision on all matters regarding the Lucky Draws is final, conclusive and binding, and no enquiries or appeals, either verbal or written, shall be entertained. All participants including the winner(s) shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by NTU College of Engineering concerning, without limitation, these T&Cs, the rules, procedures and regulations of the Lucky Draws, the award of prizes and any other matters relating to the Lucky Draws.
