Research Capabilities

EnRI houses facilities & infrastructure for synthesis, characterization and performance evaluation of materials. EnRI encompasses facilities for safe handling and storage of materials. The major materials characterization techniques include spectroscopic, thermal characterization and calorimetry.

For sample preparation, handling and processing, EnRI is equipped with glove box, ultrasonic processors, ball mill, grinder and polisher. The lab scale performance evaluation testing laboratory is furnished with detonation chamber, firing stations and framing cameras.
