Venture Building Programme

 

To empower aspiring founders, NTU I&E is launching a new venture building programme in partnership with NUS. Whether you have a technology, an innovative business solution beyond the ideation stage or are interested to leverage NTU's extensive technology offerings, we invite you to connect with us.

Our goal is to assemble a talented and gritty pool of founders with diverse and multi-disciplinary expertise. We seek well-balanced teams composed of individuals who offer complementary strengths and perspectives.

Register your interest if you are:

  1. A postgraduate student, researcher, faculty member or NTU alumnus.
  2. A professional with industry experience looking to switch careers and become an entrepreneur or be part of a founding team using NTU's Intellectual Property.

1. Fully subsidised programme fees of S$90,000 per team.

2. Open to individuals – join an existing team or form your own.

3. Leverage our tech offerings (via the NTU Tech Portal) to explore commercialisation opportunities.

4. Access to early-stage funding* during the programme:

  • Proof-of-Concept Grant (Decentralised GAP) of up to S$250,000
  • Proof-of-Value Grant of up to S$500,000
  • I&E Seed Fund

5. Investment by NTU associated investors

6. Access to NTU Makerspace Central and guidance by Lead Technologist for development of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for field trials and market testing.

7. 8 months incubation and venture building support by NTUitive.
