Undergraduate Programme
LKCMedicine offers a five-year full-time Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) undergraduate programme. Upon completion of the programme, students graduating between now and 2028 will gain an MBBS degree awarded jointly by both NTU Singapore and Imperial. From 2029, graduates will receive an NTU degree upon completion of our award-winning programme to train the next generation of doctors. This five-year programme that has been recently enhanced, exposes students to more tech-enabled teaching tools, an expanded scope in the medical humanities, and themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare. This ensures that LKCMedicine students have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine and are trained to be doctors who are agile and adaptable in navigating uncertainties and difficult situations in their practice, and can deliver compassionate and patient-centred care.
The quality of your clinical training will match the best offered anywhere in the world. LKCMedicine’s primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group, a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical expertise, facilities and teaching. LKCMedicine also partners other healthcare institutions to ensure that you are exposed to a wide range of clinical and work environments as part of your training. This will allow you to appreciate your role as a medical practitioner in the context of the wider healthcare system, and give you the fullest opportunity to acquire a solid scientific understanding of medicine and the appropriate clinical skills to be leaders in the field of healthcare delivery and medical research.
With a pioneering integrated and multi-disciplinary MBBS curriculum taught by a distinguished global faculty, LKCMedicine will be redefining medicine and transforming healthcare.
