The first three quarters of 2024 has been nothing short of an exhilarating ride for LKCMedicine. From refreshing the School’s brand identity to admitting the largest cohort of medical students to date in its 14-year history, LKCMedicine has achieved several notable milestones in the areas of research, education and corporate.

The School has received a slew of accolades with both our faculty and students flying the LKCMedicine flag high. Professor Jennifer Cleland’s contributions to medical education research earned her the prestigious Karolinska Institutet Prize for Research in Medical Education (KIPRIME), becoming the first person based in Asia to be honoured so, while 16 of our alumni clinched the National Healthcare Group’s Most Valuable Player (MVP), recognising their outstanding contributions and character in their work.

As part of our continuous efforts to foster academic excellence and collaboration within the scientific community, we are excited to introduce new initiatives aimed at enhancing knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary engagement. In line with this, we have also launched a new seminar series featuring distinguished leaders in medical science for discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking among researchers and scientists in LKCMedicine and beyond.
