Undergraduate Education Admissions

NIE undergraduate programmes combine a legacy of educational excellence with the innovation and creativity that will propel graduates into an exciting future. Academic skills are developed alongside character-building and leadership skills, with a strong emphasis on values. Students at NIE are fully supported with world-class resources and facilities. The learning is designed to be experiential, multi-modal, inquiry-based and connected to prepare students for technically demanding and complex teaching and sports-related careers. 

NIE's programmes provide student teachers with a strong educational foundation, pedagogies for effective teaching and specialised subject knowledge in at least one academic discipline. Our initial teacher preparation programmes offer three teaching tracks for teaching at either the primary, secondary or junior college levels.
