Ministry of Education (MOE) Sponsored Students

This programme primarily accepts candidates who hold either GCE 'A' Levels or polytechnic diplomas. More information about the programme can be found at https://moe.gov.sg/careers/teaching-scholarships-sponsorships/bachelor-arts-science/.

This programme also admits returning teachers with NIE Diploma qualifications, Certificate of Education and NIE's Advanced Diploma qualifications. Candidates who cannot qualify for the Undergraduate programmes using their NIE Diploma qualifications or Certificate in Education can pursue an Advanced Diploma in Education. International StudentsInternational students seeking prospective employment with mainstream schools in Singapore can visit the MOE website at http://www.moe.gov.sg/careers/ for more information on teaching as a career in Singapore.

International students may also seek admission into NIE's programmes through the Full-Fee Paying scheme. Information on the Full-Fee Paying scheme is enclosed in the FAQ on Full-Fee Paying scheme.
Full-Fee Paying StudentsFull-fee paying students are not bonded to the MOE and pay full tuition fees.

Sport Science & Management

Entry Requirements

 

Prospective students need to meet certain requirements for a successful application into the SSM programme. Admission interviews are conducted on a selective basis and non-academic achievements will also be considered. Athletes may wish to apply for admission into the programme through the University's Aptitude-based Admissions (ABA) scheme.

Student-athletes are encouraged to apply for Aptitude-Based Admissions (APA); an admission scheme for applicants with exceptional talents and/or outstanding achievements beyond schools’ co-curricular activities, subject to a minimum level of academic competence.
