Providing a Future-ready Learners' Research Agenda

The key Education Research Funding Programme (ERFP) FY2018-2022 research programmes are based on the five priority areas of research which provide a future-ready learners’ research agenda around purposeful learning.

Our goals

Through research in the five programmes, CRPP aims to achieve the following broad objectives:

To improve understanding of the design of strategic, evidence-based, scientifically sound, collaborative, sustainable, diffusable and affordable innovation programmes to improve learning and teaching across all subjects, focusing on the Four-Life learnings.

To synthesise and integrate multi- and inter-disciplinary research findings from NIE research projects, taking into consideration insight and experience of policymakers and practitioners, and develop a unique philosophy of and approach to education excellence for NIE and Singapore.

To establish stronger partnerships with IHLs and external agencies in Singapore to explore multiple layers of data (from neurological to social and economic) to inform the educational system on the Instructional Core and its associated conditions.
