About the CoS Research Internship (CoSRI)

The CoSRI programme is a 3-month research internship designed to provide undergraduate students from partner universities with hands-on research experience at the College of Science (CoS), NTU Singapore. The programme will run from January to May 2025, allowing students to engage in research projects, participate in academic activities, and experience life at NTU.

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate students with at least 5 completed semesters in relevant disciplines
  • On track to obtain at least a 2nd Upper Honours Degree or equivalent
  • Strong interest in a research career
  • No previous award from NTU Global Connect

  • Prepare supporting documents: passport copy, academic transcript, resume, and two referee letters

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I find a supervisor?  A list of supervisors will be available on our website in September.

Will I automatically receive funding if my cGPA is over 3.7?  Funding is limited and awarded on a competitive basis.

What is the time commitment required?  Students are expected to commit to a minimum of 42 hours per week.

Are the seminar series mandatory?  Yes, attendance at weekly seminars is required.

What will I be doing?  You will conduct background research, devise project plans, work in labs, attend workshops, and produce a final presentation.

Do I need a background in a specific subject area?  Yes, please ensure your academic background and research interests align with the projects you apply for.
