Course Description:

This course will cover the key concepts from the social and natural sciences for understanding coupled human and natural systems. Next, integrative socio-ecological approaches will be explored, and students will consider the strengths and weaknesses of these approaches. Lessons will be grounded in real-world case studies. Students will use interdisciplinary approaches for their final projects
