Smart Perception System on Spacecraft Workshop


The workshop brings together experts, researchers, and students to explore the development and deployment of intelligent perception systems tailored for aeronautical and astronautical engineering applications.   • Embedded AI: Embedded AI brings machine learning algorithms directly onto edge devices, enabling real-time decision-making with minimal latency and reduced reliance on cloud processing.
  • System optimization for constrained hardware: System optimization for constrained hardware involves fine-tuning software and hardware resources to maximize performance, efficiency, and functionality within limited power, memory, and processing capabilities.
  • Fault-tolerant design strategies: Fault-tolerant design strategies ensure system reliability and continuous operation by incorporating redundancy, error detection, and recovery mechanisms to handle hardware or software failures gracefully.

Special emphasis is placed on deploying neural network-based perception models on edge devices within rockets, ensuring low latency and high reliability.
