Canon Visiting Professorship 

The Canon Visiting Professorship was launched in November 1997 with a total capital of S$2m comprising donations and matching fund from the government. The fund was established by Canon at its 60^th Anniversary to further underscore its commitment to the Singapore Community and to reiterate the importance of education and a global sharing of knowledge which demonstrates Canon’s Kyosei philosophy. The Fund attracted Prof Krishna V. Palem, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA with specialisation in Embedded Systems and Technology to visit EEE.
