As industries and businesses navigate through a “New Normal”, the need for digitalisation has never been more urgent. With the support of Energy Market Authority (EMA) and Singapore Power (SP) Group, NTU College of Engineering has put together this webinar to help our industries harness the benefits of digitalisation/digital transformation to not just survive, but triumph over the COVID-19 crisis.

The webinar was opened by Mr Jimmy Khoo, CEO of SP PowerGrid Limited (SPPG) who shared about SPPG’s digital initiatives.

Prof Wen Yonggang, Associate Dean (Research) of College of Engineering then presented a talk on “Industrial AI for Your Digital Transformation Journey” where he provided a framework for digital transformation and shared how AI can be applied to optimise physical operations and systems in businesses to enhance their efficiency and performance.

A/P Gooi Hoay Beng from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering next shared his rich experience in power systems and energy management in a comprehensive overview on the “Digitalisation of the Power Sector”.

The webinar concluded with an engaging Q&A session moderated by Mr Jimmy Khoo, where the speakers addressed questions posed by the audience.
