Causes For Support
Every gift to NTU makes a difference. Match your passion for positive change with the areas and causes that are close to your heart. From promoting digital equality to helping financially needy students, or from supporting research and innovation to championing sustainability for our planet, there are a wide range of opportunities that require support.
NTU Bursary Fund
The NTU Bursary Fund helps deserving needy students pursue a quality education at NTU. With the aim of inspiring and creating life-changing experiences for our students, the NTU Bursary plays a vital role in the University's commitment to helping students realise their fullest potential regardless of their financial backgrounds.
NTU Priorities Fund
The NTU Priorities Fund addresses important needs identified by the University’s leadership. Its first use is to offer financial assistance to the neediest NTU students from Singapore and abroad. Recipients of support from the Fund pledge to pay it forward within two years. By nurturing this evergreen fund, NTU aims to perpetuate the cycle of philanthropy as a university resource to benefit future generations of students.
The Fund will also be used to bridge digital inequality, a problem exacerbated by the intensified use of digital technology for remote learning arrangements and communication during the pandemic.
NTU Sustainability Fund
The NTU Sustainability Fund was established with the aim of funding programmes and projects that support our wide-ranging efforts in sustainability, as well as solidifying the University’s position as a leader in sustainability.
The Fund will be used for initiatives, activities, and programmes related to sustainability. These include research, innovation, workshops, forums, seminars, conferences, community engagement and strategic collaborations with other institutions, industries and academia.
NTU Wellbeing Fund
At NTU, we understand that not all burdens that students face are visible. We believe that good mental health is a crucial factor in enabling our students to excel and thrive. To help our community handle these ‘invisible challenges’, NTU set up the University Wellbeing Office (UWO) in April 2021.
It is fully resourced by the University, professionally staffed and provides a range of mental health services such as counselling to students. The NTU Wellbeing fund supports the University Wellbeing Office to run programmes that support the mental wellbeing needs of our community.
School Advancement Funds
NTU offers a wide range of programmes in Engineering, Business, Science, Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Medicine. Students benefit from a broad-based education in multiple disciplines taught by top-notch academics, and can experience enriching overseas study and research opportunities with eminent global partners. In addition, the University is home to world-class institutes and leading research centres that support better learning and living experiences, and the sustainability of resources and academic excellence.
Every School and College conducts its own research initiatives and academic programmes, and has its own funding priorities. Your gift will support these vital School priorities as well as provide the needed infrastructure and facilities to empower our students, faculty and staff to maximise and realise their full potential.
