I am currently an Associate Professor at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University. I earned my PhD in Information Studies from WKWSCI, NTU in 2022. Before pursuing my PhD, I worked as a research assistant at WKWSCI and completed a Master’s by coursework degree in Knowledge Management. Reflecting on my seven-year journey at NTU, which included both my studies and work, I cherish the rich and rewarding experiences I gained there.
My research focuses on the intersection of communication and information science, with a particular emphasis on health information behavior in the digital age. The guidance of my supervisors was invaluable. They not only helped refine my research ideas but also provided detailed advice on writing and methodology. The PhD program at NTU was instrumental in broadening my academic perspective. It allowed me to engage with knowledgeable faculty members through coursework and provided opportunities to attend international academic conferences. These experiences enabled me to present my research findings and exchange ideas with peers globally. I am deeply grateful for the support and opportunities provided by the program, which have been fundamental to my academic and professional growth.
