Technology Adoption Program (TAP)

Overview

The Technology Adoption Program (TAP) takes a “drink-your-own-champagne” approach to pilot CCDS projects proposed by faculty. It provides experiences, platforms, and networks for project incubations and on-campus trials to get the first-hand user experience, and assists in obtaining technology license.

Application “HEY! Shake”, the Multi-Screen Cloud Social TV at NTU Freshmen Ceremony, 2017 

“HEY! Shake”, a prototype of the multi-screen cloud social TV developed by Assoc/Prof Wen Yonggang completed an internal test in the NTU Freshmen Ceremony 2017 on Aug 8 and achieved a great success. It acquired more than 3.2k APP users for iOS and Android, and in total 4,166 likes for #NTU Facebook and Instagram in one day. It has topped as No. 1 in Google Play Store and ranked No. 13 in Apple Store after the event, which indicating the popularity of the new technology among young university students.

Intellik as a system-independent programming-free game authoring platform equips users with the right tools to design and develop different types of games in an easy and efficient manner, providing people without much coding experience with an opportunity to create their own interactive stories, games, and the like. Intellik has been validated through workshops and hackathons and is intended to soon reach the general public.
