The Studio
Learning @ CresPion refers to both physical and educational spaces in the Crescent and Pioneer (CresPion) Hall of residents at Nanyang Technological University, in harmony with the new concept and philosophy in NTU residential education. Since 2014, four learning spaces (Garage, Studio, Kitchen, and Giveback) have been developed to facilitate students’ holistic development by offering opportunities for an integration of hands-on concrete experiences and conceptual reflective thinking.
The Studio aims to promote and encourage residents to pick up skills outside of their curriculum. Workshops such as 'CresPion through the Lens' offer students an opportunity to learn basic photography and editing skills. Other workshops includes Woodworking and Claycraft.
