The curriculum combines pre-recorded online lectures, interactive learning, and hands-on clinical attachments to cater to the busy schedules of family doctors. The programme offers a balance of flexibility and competency development, dedicated to online learning and workshops. Additionally, students will engage in 30 hours of clinical attachment at participating cardiology clinics and hospitals, ensuring that they gain practical, real-world experience alongside theoretical knowledge.

Faculty

The faculty for the programme primarily includes Cardiologists, Senior Physicians, and allied health professionals from leading healthcare institutions in Singapore. Besides the Department of Cardiology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, we are proud to have the support of other major Cardiology centres in delivering the programme.

Assessments & Examinations

There are five modules. Each module's assessment will consist of a summative final exam with multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Clinical Attachment

Students will be attached to cardiology departments at participating hospitals and clinics to observe cardiovascular medicine clinicians managing real-world cases. Where possible, and if there are suitable ongoing cardiovascular events, the clinical attachment may also include participation in the medical management of such events.
