The Patient Voices Symposium 2024, held on 19 November 2024, brought together a vibrant community of local and international patient partners, advocates, researchers, clinicians, academics, and healthcare professionals at the Toh Kian Chui Auditorium, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine Headquarters.
This impactful symposium delved into the significance and influence of patient and public involvement (PPI) in medical research and education. Attendees explored best practices and strategies to deepen PPI, fostering meaningful discussions and insights. Highlights of the day included the Open Voices Library sessions and an inspiring patient-composed performance, showcasing the power of patient narratives in shaping healthcare.
