Application of Information Technology in Chinese Language Teaching and Learning, Chinese Language Teaching and Research

Mr Zhu Haibin graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of East China Normal University in 2003 and has been engaged in work and research related to Chinese language education.
From 2003 to May 2007, he was a Chinese teacher at Xiamen No. 1 High School.
From June 2007 to December 2015, he was a Chinese teacher at the Crescent Girls’ School in Singapore.  He was involved in teachers’ training, was an ICT director, and assisted in developing school-based educational applications and games.
From 2016 to 2018, he was a Chinese teacher and the Chinese language Subject Head at the Nanyang Girls' High School.
From 2019 to 2021, as a curriculum development and planner, Mr Zhu was transferred to the Mother Tongue Language Branch, Curriculum Planning and Development Division 1, Ministry of Education.
Mr Zhu was a part-time lecturer with NIE/NTU in 2021, conducting the module - Application of Information Technology in Teaching Chinese as an International Language.  
Since Jan 2022, Mr Zhu has been seconded to the Asian Languages and Cultures Academic Group/NIE as a Teaching Fellow, providing training for pre-service teachers.
