Yvonne Seng
Your course facilitator, Dr. Yvonne Seng is a faculty member at the National Institute of Education, contributing significantly to both the Psychology and Child & Human Development Academic Group as well as the Singapore Centre for Character and Citizenship Education. Her academic credentials are robust, holding a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree from the renowned Loughborough University in the United Kingdom, and later advancing her scholarly pursuits at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where she achieved both her Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the National Institute of Education.

Academic Transcript and Certificate of Participation Delivery

The original copy of the NIE Singapore Undergraduate Online student’s Academic Transcript and Certificate of Participation will be mailed directly to the student after the completion of the programme within two (2) months from the date of release of examination results by NIE.

Students may apply under an Exchange or Fee-paying scheme

Exchange

Applicable to exchange students from NIE’s and NTU’s partner universities who have been nominated by their home university.

Fee-paying

Applicable to fee-paying students from any university and public.
Applicable to fee-paying students from any ASEAN universities who have been nominated by their home university.
Applicable to exchange Students from NIE’s and NTU’s Partner Universities (Under the Exchange Scheme).

English Proficiency

Proof of English proficiency from students is required for some of the courses (refer to the course description on the requirement for English proficiency).

Based on our requirements, please refer to the following acceptable qualifications for English proficiency:

Change of Courses upon Acceptance of EnrolmentStudents are advised to select their courses very carefully before putting in their online application. They can email to [email protected] for clarification prior to submitting their online application.

NOTE: Please note that NO ADD-DROP of courses are allowed once the student has accepted the online Offer of Admission.
Course CancellationA course may be cancelled if there are less than 10 students for the course. You will be notified by the end of May.

In the event of cancellation, you will be offered other courses to consider before the commencement of the programme. If you decide not to register for other available courses, you will be granted a refund of tuition fees paid for the course being cancelled.

Withdrawal Policy

FOR ALL STUDENTS

All students who wish to withdraw from the NIE Singapore Undergraduate Online should inform their Home University Coordinator(s) and the ISP/NIE, in writing, of their decision to withdraw.

Only Registration and Administrative fees will be refunded.

Less than 30 days before the start of the student’s course on NIE Singapore Undergraduate Online

Only the registration fee will be refunded. Administrative fee will NOT be refunded.

For Exchange coordinators, this will not be counted towards exchange.
