Kookree — AI and Computer Vision Solutions
We had the privilege of meeting Mr Kelvin Kok, CEO and co-founder of Kookree, who is also an alumnus, adjunct lecturer, and mentor of NTUpreneur’s Technopreneurship & Innovation Programme (TIP).
Kookree is all about pushing the limits of generative AI and computer vision, especially when it comes to making our cities safer and smarter. We’re talking next-level tech for a next-level world. At the event, entrepreneur Mr Kelvin dropped some serious knowledge: in today’s fast-moving business world, staying agile is key. He explained that entrepreneurs need to constantly adapt to market shifts and tweak their strategies if they want to keep their edge. It's all about staying ahead of the curve—because in the game of innovation, if you're not moving forward, you're falling behind.
Pints.ai — AI Tools for Protecting Financial Data Privacy
Meet Mr. Calvin Tan, the co-founder and CTO of Pints.ai, who’s making major waves in the world of data privacy. A Business Analytics graduate from Nanyang Business School, Calvin is all about using AI to help financial professionals analyse sensitive data securely and efficiently—solving a huge gap in the market for privacy-focused financial tools.
But what really helped Calvin get to where he is today? According to him, it was the amazing team of mentors and the hands-on courses offered by NTUitive. He credits them for turning his passion for AI from just an idea into real, market-ready products. Plus, NTUitive opened up tons of opportunities for Pints.ai to showcase their innovations, giving the company massive exposure and setting them up for future growth.

Micro-Dynamic Imaging — Ophthalmic Diagnostic Equipment
Micro-Dynamic Imaging is revolutionizing eye care with cutting-edge ophthalmic biometric devices designed to address the growing issue of myopia in Singapore.
With 20% of children developing myopia by the age of seven and over 80% of adults affected, this is a major public health concern. However, the company's innovative technology not only ensures exceptional measurement accuracy but also significantly reduces costs. This makes advanced diagnostic tools more accessible to schools and communities, offering more people the opportunity to achieve better eye health.
Chen Xi, the company’s co-founder, is committed to transforming his groundbreaking research into practical solutions for the prevention and control of myopia. He firmly believes that his work has immense commercial potential and is channeling his entrepreneurial spirit to turn academic success into products with real societal value.
The journey began during Chen Xi’s doctoral studies at NTU, where he pioneered the development of this technology. By maintaining high measurement accuracy while lowering costs, Micro-Dynamic Imaging empowers schools and communities to adopt advanced diagnostic equipment, providing broader access to eye health solutions.
This innovative approach underscores Chen Xi’s vision: to create impactful products that address a pressing health challenge in Singapore, giving more individuals the chance to protect and improve their vision.
