Student who wishes to withdraw from the programme must write in officially to NTUpreneur for approval in advance, stating the reasons and provide supporting documents for the withdrawal. There shall be no backdating of withdrawal.
Students are advised to consult their academic mentor in School before making an application for withdrawal from the University.
Students who submit their withdrawal request after Teaching Week 2 of the term shall be liable for tuition fees and miscellaneous fees for the entire term.
Withdrawal from the programme of study takes effect from the date stated in the official notification of withdrawal issued by the University. Pending the formal notification of withdrawal from the University and the effective withdrawal date, the student is still considered a matriculated student and is expected to attend classes and/or sit for assessments.
Upon the effective date of withdrawal and cessation of candidature, student shall not be allowed to continue attending classes nor take examinations. His/her access to the University's resources and facilities shall cease immediately upon the effective date of withdrawal. This includes access to student IT applications, University facilities and housing, medical and wellbeing services, scholarship grants, financial aid, Library, and Sports and Recreational Club amenities.
Students are required to settle all liabilities with the University such as fees, financial loans and fines, and return their student matriculation card and all items belonging to the University upon their withdrawal from the University.
International students are required to surrender their student pass to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) for cancellation within 7 days of cessation of their candidature.
Students holding scholarships that are administered by the University are required to check with the Office of Admissions and understand the possible implications (e.g. liquidated damages liability) prior to the application for withdrawal from the University.
A student who has ceased his/her candidature with the University shall have no automatic right of re-admission to the University.
