    SkillsFuture Credit 
    On top of the above funding, Singapore Citizens, aged 25 and above and self-sponsored may use their SkillsFuture Credit to defray part of the nett course fee. 

    Participants do not need to contact SkillsFuture for funding application before course registration. NTU will facilitate the funding paperwork for both self and company-sponsored participants. Participants will be invoiced the nett amount after funding and GST.

    Funding Requirements:
    - Participant must achieve at least 75% attendance for the programme.
    - Participant must complete a small group project during the course.

    Dr Tan Joo Seng is one of the world’s leading practitioners on cultural intelligence. He was among the first to develop and conduct corporate training programs based on cultural intelligence. His expertise on cultural intelligence, cross-cultural leadership, cross-cultural communication and negotiation is sought after by leading global companies.

    He has been interviewed and profiled in leading business publications in the Asia-Pacific region. He is regularly invited to be a guest speaker by different organizations in North America and Asia. He has worked with Fortune 500 clients on diverse projects. He has been Program Chair for Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management’s annual HR Roundtable since its inauguration in 2006.

    Prof Vijay Sethi

    Prof Vijay Sethi

    Professor, Nanyang Business School, NTU Singapore
    Division of Information Technology and Operations Management 

    Dr Vijay Sethi has held several leadership positions at Nanyang Business School including Director - International Business Competitions, and Dean - Business Programs. He specialises in e-commerce, IT entrepreneurship, strategic information systems planning, IT productivity, and knowledge management. He has published in the top IT journals and is internationally recognized for his research.

    He teaches at the Masters and executive levels on IT strategies and e-Business and has won many prestigious teaching awards.  His work is focused on digital disruptions, the economics of technology, social media and networks, data analytics, legal and IPR issues, and patterns of new technology evolution.  

    Dr. Sethi has mentored many new Internet business ideas, many of which have gone on to win accolades in regional competitions such as the Asia Moot Corp, Bangkok Business Challenge, and others. He has also been a consultant to many large governmental and private organisations as well as for executive education programmes. 

    He holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, USA. He was previously an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York,  Buffalo and then a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma.
    Dr Geoffrey Chua

    Dr. Geoffrey Chua

    Associate Professor, Nanyang Business School, NTU Singapore

    Geoffrey Chua is an Associate Professor of Operations Management and Academic Director for the Nanyang MBA at Nanyang Business School, NTU Singapore. He has taught operations management, supply chain management, service operations, and management science at the PhD, EMBA, PMBA, MBA, MSc and undergraduate levels. He also actively consults for organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, OCBC Bank, ST Engineering, Alstom, Royal Golden Eagle Group, UPS Singapore, Jacobs Douwe Egberts, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Ministry of Health, and Singapore Red Cross.

    He has published in leading journals such as Operations Research, Production and Operations Management (POM), IISE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Social Choice and Welfare, Naval Research Logistics, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences and Operations Research Letters. He has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Asia-Pacific Journal of Operational Research, Associate Editor of Networks, and to the editorial review boards of POM and Computers & Operations Research.

    Neumann Chew

    Dr. Neumann Chew C.H. 

    Senior Lecturer, Nanyang Business School, NTU Singapore

    Neumann Chew C.H. is Senior Lecturer at NTU Nanyang Business School and leads Data Science/Machine Learning projects with companies. Previously, he was Principal and Head of Analytics at SAS Institute where he designed and lead advanced analytics solution for government agencies, banks, insurance companies, hospitals and MNCs. Prior to SAS Institute, he was Head of Research & Statistics at Ministry of Health, and Professor of Financial Mathematics in Dubai Academic City.

    He had published the textbook Artificial Intelligence, Analytics and Data Science, currently used in undergraduate Analytics specialization and Masters of Business Analytics programme.

    Alvin Ng

    Alvin Ng

    Chief Operating Officer, Smart Cities, Asia Pacific, Aboitiz Data Innovation
    Adjunct Associate Professor, Nanyang Business School, NTU

    Alvin Ng is the Chief Operating Officer for Smart Cities of Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI). He plays a key role in continuing the advancement of ADI’s mission to drive the adoption of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence tools and solutions around smart cities.

    Prior to this, as the Vice President of Digital Solutions, APAC, Johnson Controls, Alvin was responsible for driving the digital and sustainability growth strategy for Asia Pacific  region, which includes driving and executing initiatives that increase market penetration,  providing relevant digital solutions in the building sector, with focus on digital business revenue  growth, partner offerings, sales cycle support and ecosystem representation.

    Alvin has over 24 years of experience in global sales and product management and has held a series of senior global leadership roles with multinational companies like Wincor Nixdorf AG,  Cisco Systems and Rosenbluth International. Prior to joining Johnson Controls, he worked for  General Electric as the General Manager for GE Digital, Asia.

    In addition to his role as the Industry-Faculty lead for ‘Business  Consulting’ and ‘Leader as a Coach’ programs for the MBA School, he teaches Digital Transformation, AI for business, Internet of Things and Sustainability leadership programs. He  also plays the role of Senior Career Fellow as an executive coach to the Global Executive  MBA students.

    Lars Droste

    Lars Droste

    Partner Development Manager, Google Cloud

    As the Partner Development Manager for Google Cloud, Lars oversees the APAC and Japan regions. In this role, he leads and manages Google Cloud Platform partnerships, drawing upon his extensive industry experience to help partners optimize the potential of Google Cloud offerings in the marketplace. Through his profound grasp of market dynamics and tech nuances, Lars empowers partners to enhance the delivery of Google Cloud solutions. This, in turn, aids clients in integrating data-driven insights from areas such as operations, finance, supply chain, management, big data, data warehousing, and application modernization into their daily operations.

    Prior to his tenure at Google, Lars held a series of directorial roles over a decade at SAP, spanning both the UAE, APAC and Japan territories.

    Beyond Google, Lars shares his expertise as a part-time lecturer at Nanyang Business School, educating students at the Masters and executive levels on emerging technologies, practical implications, and strategies for successful adaptation. 

    Mark Laudi

    Mark Laudi

    Founder and CEO, Hong Bao Media
    Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths coach

    Mark Laudi is an accomplished media mentor, business conference anchor, and radio and financial television current affairs show host. He is a veteran of the traditional and new media, with 25 years' experience in print, radio, television, new and social media, and communications coach to senior business and government leaders in Asia and the Middle East.

    Between 1999 and 2006, Mark anchored and produced regional network television business news programs at CNBC Asia Pacific. He anchored Squawk Box, and performed various roles including Australia Editor, and Sydney Bureau Chief. From 1997-1999, Mark hosted news programs at MediaCorp, and was a member of the inaugural production and presentation team of English-language talk radio station CNA938.

    He is a member of the Asia Pacific Association of Communications Directors (APACD), the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), the Investor Relations Professionals Association Singapore, SGTech, AustCham Singapore, and the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry & Commerce.
