Undergraduate Laboratory

One of the primary functions of the undergraduate laboratory is to support various undergraduate laboratory experiments in MSE. Equipped with a wide range of facilities, the laboratory provides basic tools and equipment that are essential for fundamental material science & engineering work and research. Here, undergraduate students pick up practical skills during laboratory sessions, through hands-on experiments.

The laboratory is also equipped with various cutting, materials testing and heat-treatment facilities to cater for final year projects and higher degree research. There are also computer facilities and study rooms where students can hold discussions pertaining to their course work.
