NTU’s Research Integrity and Ethics Office (RIEO) is dedicated to providing key support required for researchers and other personnel in areas of research work involving humans and animals, in order to successfully navigate the constantly evolving research environment. RIEO also serves as the institutional representative to handle concerns raised by whistle-blowers involving allegations of research misconduct, thereby constantly ensuring that NTU continues to foster a world-leading, professional, open and fair research environment.

The responsible conduct of research covers research in all its aspects, and commits the researcher to conduct his research with care, rigour, honesty and respect. These are the hallmarks of good scholarship and are in accordance with the Singapore Statement on Research Integrity
There is also an obligation to report observed, suspected or apparent misconduct, malpractices and/or non-compliances with the University’s codes of conduct and discipline. This includes research that involves the use of human subjects and animals in research, including issues with husbandry care of animals.

To make an anonymous report, please submit the form. Please note that anonymous allegations made without sufficient supporting information will not be investigated. Thus, all complainants are requested to substantiate your allegations with a thorough description of the nature of allegation, along with necessary supporting information.
