The following scholarships are specific to certain Schools and programmes in the College for incoming freshmen.

Bachelor of Chinese Medicine Programme, School of Biological Sciences (SBS)
Freshmen studying in the Chinese Medicine programme can apply for the Balance Brew Scholarship. The selection criteria requires that applicants possess strong academic results. This scholarship is open to all nationalities.

Sim Yung Chong TCM Scholarship
This scholarship supports outstanding students in pursuing their full-time undergraduate Chinese Medicine programme at NTU.

School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS)
School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) Advancement Fund Scholarship
The SPMS Advancement Fund Scholarship are awarded by the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) to outstanding freshmen pursuing full-time undergraduate programmes at SPMS. It provides full coverage of tuition fees (after the Tuition Grant) for four years, and an explorer grant to support participation in an overseas learning programme. There is no bond aside from the service obligation associated with the Tuition Grant (which applies to Singapore PRs and international students).
Eligibility
- Open to all nationalities.
- Successful awardees should read a full-time undergraduate degree programme. The scholarship will cover The years of study at NTU.
- Possess outstanding academic achievements in the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' level, Diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.
- Good leadership qualities and potential.

- No bond is attached to this scholarship.
Terms and Conditions
- The Scholarship will be withdrawn if the recipient is no longer pursuing an undergraduate programme offered by the school.
- Full coverage of subsidised tuition fees applies only during the standard duration for completing an undergraduate programme (i.e., 4 years or less). The Scholarship will not cover subsidised tuition fees beyond this period.
- The Scholarship holder must not, without the approval of the University, hold concurrently any other scholarships, bursaries, university loans or awards.
- The Scholarship holder is required to maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 over 5.0. The academic performance of each Scholarship holder will be reviewed every Semester.
- The Scholarship may be withdrawn at any time if, in the opinion of the School, the Scholarship holder's progress or behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory.
- If the Scholarship holder terminates the scholarship prematurely, a repayment will be imposed.

Selection Interview
- Scholarship selection interviews will take place between March to May.
- Only scholarship applicants that are shortlisted for an interview will be informed via e-mail by mid-May. Do check your email regularly and be prepared to attend an interview at short notice.
