Admissions
Our Admissions Committee is committed to forming a diverse cohort that comprises individuals with different academic, professional backgrounds and life experiences. We strongly believe that a student's learning experience is enriched when they leverage on perspectives, experience and network of a highly diverse group of students. Our past and current students include nurses, physiotherapists, medical doctors, social workers, civil servants, lecturers, engineers and professionals from the financial sector.
Applicants should possess:
- a good bachelor’s degree; and
- a passion for working with older people or on ageing-related matters
International applicants whose medium of instruction was not in English at the tertiary level should have:
- an IELTS score of 6.0; or
- TOEFL internet based score of 85
Course exemptions
Students may be eligible for exemptions of up to 6 academic units (AUs) if they have:
- A graduate diploma in gerontology or an ageing-related field.
- A graduate or FlexiMasters certificate from NTU in gerontology or an ageing-related field.
These exemptions are subject to approval on a case-by-case basis. Students can apply for the exemption once they have been admitted to the programme. Those granted exemptions will receive a tuition fee subsidy of up to $5,000.
Application for August 2025 intake will be open from 4 Nov 2024.

7. | Photocopy of Professional Qualifications/Membership Certificates, if any |
8. | Two reference letters (e.g. supporting letters from your employers or referees) |

- All supporting documents are to be submitted via the online application portal. Alternatively, you may email them to [email protected].
- The maximum file size per email submission is 15MB.
- There is no refund for application fee.
- Late or incomplete applications will not be processed.
