The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University is widely regarded as one of the top schools in communication and information globally. QS World University Rankings 2024 by Subject ranked the School at #4 globally for Communication and Media Studies and #7 for Library and Information Management. With a team of talented faculty and research staff, the School undertakes a range of interdisciplinary research that straddles across the fields of communication and information.
Associate Chair (Research)'s Message
For the past five years, we have made significant strides in research in terms of competitive grants, high impact publications and citation counts. In 2023, the total value of externally funded projects in WKWSCI exceeds S$12M from various public grant agencies and private enterprises such as Singapore Cancer Society, Sport Singapore, The Tides Centre, SSHRF, NMRC, National Academy of Sciences and SG Enable Ltd. Many of our faculty members regularly publish in top-tier journals in the fields of communication and information.
Our research achievements would not have been possible without the efforts of our people who are committed to pushing the frontier of knowledge constantly.
